My wings unfold and I soar,
My feathers gleam in the morning sun,
I dance within the wind,
And sing my harmonious song to the world,
There is no place I cannot go,
No place my wings won’t take me,
No enemy that can catch me,
No soul that can hurt me,
No obstacle I cannot overcome,
I am in the protection of the heavens.
Not anymore,
My enormous wings cannot unfold within my cage,
My feathers have become coarse and torn,
I can no longer dance within the wind,
I now lack the will to sing,
There is no place I can go beyond my bars,
My enemies have taken me,
Souls have destroyed me,
I have given up,
I can no lo
Away from the Sun The nightmare unfolded my illusion,Away from the Sun by ~SamGustaw
And pulled the wool from my eyes too late,
I can never touch the sun,
Once I could see it,
Glowing on the horizon,
But now on and forever my light is a candle,
I can watch the fiery dance,
But when the wax is gone it will be darkness.
Night will fall upon me and I will see stars throughout the dark sky,
But never a sun.
All the stars are far from reach,
Mysterious and Unreachable,
I'll sit alone and watch them fade away.
I long for warmth,
I long to be embraced within the arms of light,
But never again will I see the sun.
The dark becomes a cage,
Suffocating and isolating me,
molding me
